Product Manager/ Product Specialist – Neurology

Job Details:

  • Marketing and sales in neurology field, esp. Radiofrequency, Spinal Cord Stimulation and Deep Brain Stimulation systems;
  • Primary product portfolio: Abbott / St. Jude Medical Neuromodulation;
  • Performs work that involves a high degree of independence;
  • Identifies and implements the most efficient business practices to execute processes and constantly evaluates their effectiveness and appropriateness;
  • Participates in the creation and implementation of short- and long-term sales and business strategies for the neurology/ neuromodulation product portfolio;
  • Communicates verbally and written with technical support teams to address technical and clinical issues;
  • Supports clinical seminars and medical congresses, sponsored symposia and courses;
  • Ensures that systems and devices are used appropriately regarding patient safety and intended use;
  • Demonstrates a commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance requirements;
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

  • This is a dynamic, field-based position involving regular meetings with customers and collaborators inside hospitals and other medical facilities;
  • Must develop confidence in working in operating rooms and assist doctors in performing interventions.

Qualifications/ Requirements:

  • A minimum of two years responsible practice in the neurology and related industries preferred;
  • Experience and strong technical knowledge of specialized neuromodulation medical devices, esp. radiofrequency, Spinal Cord Stimulation and Deep Brain Stimulation systems will be considered an important, valuable qualification and will be rewarded accordingly;
  • Ability to speak in a friendly way to customers and potential customers, listening to their needs and find optimal solutions for them;
  • Ability to provide to customers information about product’s different features and answer any questions they might have;
  • Ability to quickly gain a thorough knowledge and to stay abreast of the company products, current technology and generally accepted medical practices;
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills;
  • Knowledge of PC operation (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook);
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales;
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail;
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills;
  • Teamwork, flexibility, adaptability, integrity;
  • Driving license category B;
  • Availability to travel based on business need.

Academic Background

  • Associate’s degree or certificate in healthcare-related field required;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Bio-Medical Engineering or related technical field strongly preferred.
